Agave Victoriae-Reginae
Agave victoriae-reginae, commonly known as "Queen Victoria Agave," is a stunning succulent prized for its elegant, rosette form and striking architectural beauty. Native to the arid regions of Mexico, this slow-growing agave features compact, thick leaves with white, contrasting margins and a symmetrical arrangement that creates a striking visual impact. The plant remains relatively small, making it ideal for container gardening, rock gardens, or as a statement piece in a succulent collection. Agave victoriae-reginae is hardy and low-maintenance, thriving with minimal water and full sun, and occasionally producing tall, dramatic flower spikes that add to its allure.

Germination For sowing, use a gritty mix of peat, vermiculite and perlite, sand or a good cacti mix soil. Sow the seeds on the surface. Cover the seeds with a thin layer of soil, about as thick as the seeds are. Place trays or pots at temperatures between 25 and 30øC (75 to 90øF) in a brightly lit spot but out of full sun and keep slightly damp but never wet. Seeds will sprout reliably after a few days or weeks.
