Echeveria nodulosa

Echeveria nodulosa, commonly known as Painted Echeveria, is a striking succulent prized for its unique coloration and compact rosette growth. Native to Mexico, this drought-tolerant plant features elongated, green leaves adorned with bold red or burgundy markings along the edges and center, creating a beautifully painted effect.

Reaching up to 20 cm (8 inches) in height and spreading up to 30 cm (12 inches) wide, this ornamental species produces multiple rosettes over time. In summer, tall flower spikes emerge, displaying small, bell-shaped, yellow to reddish flowers that attract pollinators like hummingbirds and bees.

Echeveria nodulosa thrives in well-draining soil, such as a sandy or cactus mix, and requires bright, indirect light to full sun for optimal coloration. Watering should be done sparingly, allowing the soil to dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot. It is well-suited for container gardening, rock gardens, and xeriscaping.

Easy to propagate from offsets or leaf cuttings, Echeveria nodulosa is a low-maintenance yet visually stunning succulent. Its bold patterns and compact growth habit make it an excellent choice for succulent arrangements and indoor or outdoor displays.
