Aechmea bracteata is a species of the genus Aechmea. This species is native to Central America, Mexico, Colombia, and Venezuela; it is also reportedly naturalized in the Bahamas.
They contain both native and non-native wildflowers. Non-native species were chosen on the basis of their versatility or ability to adapt to various conditions.
