Annona muricata, commonly known as Soursop or Graviola, is a tropical, evergreen tree valued for its large, heart-shaped fruits and medicinal properties. The tree can reach up to 8 meters tall (26 feet) and has glossy, dark green leaves. Its fruit, which can grow up to 30 centimeters (12 inches) long and weigh up to 6.8 kilograms (15 pounds), is covered in soft spines and contains a sweet, tangy pulp.
