Yucca rostrata, commonly known as Beaked Yucca, is a stunning, drought-tolerant plant native to northern Mexico and Texas. This slow-growing species forms a striking single or multi-trunked structure, topped with a dense rosette of narrow, blue-green leaves.
Highly valued for xeriscaping and desert gardens, Yucca rostrata is extremely hardy and can withstand drought, heat, and even cold temperatures down to -10°C (14°F). Its architectural appearance makes it a great focal point in rock gardens, containers, or low-maintenance landscapes.
During late spring, mature plants produce tall flower spikes with clusters of creamy-white blooms, attracting pollinators. With minimal watering needs and excellent adaptability, Beaked Yucca is an excellent choice for any arid garden.
