Le pin rouge (Pinus resinosa), pin résineux ou pin de Norvège, est un arbre appartenant au genre Pinus et à la famille des Pinacées. C'est un arbre fréquemment utilisé dans les plantations forestières de l'est du Canada.
Au début du Printemps le Taxus est en fleurs, et à la fin de l'Été les fruits apparaissent. L'arbre est en feuilles toute l'année, en fleurs de Mars à Avril et les semences sont libérées de Septembre à Novembre.
