Gloriosa superba est une espèce de plante à fleurs de la famille des Colchicaceae. Ses noms communs en anglais sont flamme lys, escalade lis, lis rampante, la gloire lis, lys gloriosa, tigre griffe, et le feu de lys.
Les baies comestibles sont généralement cuites, séchées, ou utilisées dans les confitures, les gelées ou les tartes. Le fruit est souvent utilisé pour faire du vin.
Les fleurs sont également comestibles.
