Alors que les feuilles se déploient, les fleurs vertes s'ouvrent et révèlent une longue langue, ressemblant à un cordon, sortant de la bouche de la fleur et atteignant 30.5 cm et plus de long.
Les feuilles forment une rosette. Drosera roraimae fleurit régulièrement. La plante produit plusieurs fleurs, parfois jusqu'à 50 par tige. Elle se propage facilement par la transplantation des feuilles.
Cette Drosera peut atteindre près de 25 cm de haut. Les feuilles sont plutôt rondes et leur surface supérieure est recouverte de tentacules collantes qui attirent les proies.
