La livèche, ou ache des montagnes, est une plante herbacée vivace de la famille des Apiaceae, cultivée pour ses feuilles et ses graines utilisées comme condiments alimentaires.
Du printemps à l’été, la vigne produit plusieurs fleurs fragrantes, de 12 cm de long, parmi les feuilles pendantes. Les fleurs attrapent les insectes, ce qui facilite la fécondation.
