L'achillée millefeuille (Achillea millefolium) est une plante herbacée vivace de la famille des Astéracées. C'est une plante stolonifère vivace, aux tiges variant de 18 à 80 cm, aux feuilles finement bipennatilobées, doublement pennées vert foncé, très allongées et découpées en fines lanières courtes. Les fleurs sont pourpres. Les fleurons du centre (fleurs en tube) sont jaunâtres. Les capitules aux sommets des tiges forment des corymbes.

Germination Seeds require light for germination, so optimal germination occurs when planted no deeper than ¬ inch (~6 mm). Seeds also require a germination temperature of 18?24 øC (64?75 øF). Common yarrow responds best to soil that is poorly developed and well drained. The plant has a relatively short life, but may be prolonged by dividing the plant every other year, and planting 12 to 18 inches (30?46 cm) apart.
